Miller attended Riverside Polytechnic High School and then enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles. NBA Career
Reggie Miller was the 11th overall choice of the Indiana Pacers in the first round of the 1987 NBA draft, wearing the jersey of number 31 of the Pacers who played alongside second shooting guard John Long. Miller improved so much that he became the top scorer for the Pacers. He set a goal record of 57 points in a 1992 match against Charlotte Hornets. This record is still regarded as the Pacers’ team record today; he is the second player behind Michael Jordan to hold the record of 64 points in one game.
Miller led the Pacers to victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Knicks to qualify for the Eastern Conference finals. In the 1998 finals, they faced the Bulls from defending champion Michael Jordan. He also played against the Los Angeles Lakers, led by Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, in the first and only NBA Pacers finals in 2000.
