The famous golfer Bubba Watson was born on November 5, 1978, as Gerry Lester Watson Jr. Bubba was born in Baghdad, Florida, and became interested in golf at the tender age of six. The nickname Bubba was given to him by his own father, who was a former professional footballer. According to Bubba, his father was his inspiration in his early days of golf, and his full support motivated him to become the athlete he is today, but unfortunately, his father died of throat cancer.
