Eric Decker is a professional American football player and a reality TV star. He plays in the National Football League (NFL) on the wide receiver position. Before joining the NFL, Decker was a college athlete with two sports at the University of Minnesota, where he played both baseball and football. Eventually, he chose football and was drafted by NFL team Denver Broncos in the 3rd round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Eric Thomas Decker was born on 15 March 1987 in Cold Spring, Minnesota. He completed his high school education at Rocori High School in Cold Spring, Minnesota, and graduated in 2005. As a teenager, Decker was a three-sport athlete who played baseball, football, and basketball and excelled in all three sports. He was named MVP of his high school football team for two consecutive years. Once he was named All-Area Boys Basketball Player of the Year by Minnesota-based Times Media.
