The Backstreet Boys were certainly a sensation that everyone (especially the ladies) drooled over in the 1990s. They were a group of young men who were talented in the art of music and had the looks to sell them. Nick was born on January 28, 1980, and is probably best known as part of the now-defunct Backstreet Boys, because although he had a solo career that sold quite well, he was most popular as part of the group. The American musician was born in Jamestown, New York as the son of his mother Jane Elizabeth Schneck, and his father Robert Gene Carter, a bar owner. Nick Carter Career – Early Beginnings
For Nick Carter, his career path was already marked out quite early, when his mother enrolled him for singing and dancing lessons at the theatre and dance school of Karl and DiMarco. At that time he was ten years old and learned ballet and tap dancing and was excellent at it. His outstanding performances earned him many favors, as he soon appeared in commercials and operas. He appeared in commercials for the Florida State Lottery and another one for The Money Store. Better yet, he played the lead role in the fourth-grade production of “Phantom of the Opera” at Miles Elementary School.

He made a video called Reach For The Book and a show called The Klub, and for two years Carter had the unique opportunity to perform at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games. In 1990, his playing took off when he made his film debut in the movie Edward Scissorhands, in which he played alongside big names like Johnny Depp.

His group days began in 1989 when one of his teachers, seeing how well he sings, formed a group for him and a few other children. The group – Nick and the Angels – subsequently inspired everyone, especially because Nick soon made covers for a number of other songs by various other artists. The collection of these songs was later compiled by Dynamic Discs, Inc. under the name Before the Backstreet Boys 1989-1993 and released in October 2002.
At the age of 11, Nick attended auditions, including those of the Backstreet Boys, but didn’t make it to audition because his mother would prefer him to join Disney The Mickey Mouse Club, which would help him succeed during his school years. Moreso, Backstreet was new and didn’t have much to offer, while The Mickey Mouse Club offered him a $50,000 contract. At the time the group was formed, Nick was 13 years old and the youngest member of the group, which included AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Howie Dorough, and Kevin Richardson. The group became a sensation and recorded several albums, the latest being In a World Like This (2013). He began pursuing his solo ambitions while the group was still strong, and when the group decided to leave The Firm as their management company, he stayed on to build his solo career. The group continued without him while he recorded his solo albums, which were quite successful. His first solo album, Now Or Never (2002), peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200 charts and was awarded gold in the US and Canada with two hit singles Help Me and I Got You.

Nick said that during the tour he realized that he couldn’t live without her, so he decided to take the next step by going the old-fashioned way and getting her father’s approval before buying a ring. The wedding took place in April 2014 in an intimate ceremony that took place at sunset at Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara, California. There were over 100 guests present, who were really close friends, family, and bandmates of the Backstreet Boys. The official ceremony was followed by a reception in the ballroom with good food and lots of dancing. The two welcomed their first child together, a son, on April 19, 2016, with home birth and named him Odin Reign Carter.
Lauren Kitt is not only a fitness trainer but also an actress and part-time producer. In 2010 she worked on a short film called The Pendant. She appeared as an instructor for boot camps in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live from 2013.

Bobbie Jean, born January 12, 1982, Leslie, born June 6, 1986, and twins Aaron and Angel, born December 7, 1987. Leslie, however, died on January 12, 1982.
