Patrick Beverley was born on July 12 and in 1988 as the son of Patrick Bracy and Lisa Beverley and raised by his mother Lisa and his maternal grandfather, Rheese Morris. It is said that at the age of 12 he found out what he wanted to do with his life and began to work towards it. His goal was to become a precise – professional baller and play in the NBA.
Patrick was a student at John Marshall Metropolitan High School in East Garfield Park, Chicago. At public school, he began to develop his skills in the game. His efforts were evident in his senior year when he was ranked as the state’s best player with 37.3 points per game. This earned him several honors, as he was named Player of the Year and was selected to play in the high school’s 2006 National All-Star Game (Roundball Classic).
To further his education and take his basketball career to the next level, Patrick Beverley became a student at the University of Arkansas, where he joined the Razorbacks, basketball team. Patrick wasted no time in proving his value to the team. He finished his first season with a fantastic score and made the second team of the All-SEC and the SEC All-Freshman Team. He was also honored by a handful of federations as rookie of the year.
Beverley kept up with his performance the next season and was nominated for prestigious awards such as the Naismith Trophy and the Wooden Award. Unfortunately, his time with the Razorbacks came to an abrupt end as he was unable to develop academically. It was a nightmare for Patrick when he was accused of malpractice. Admittedly, it was as if his goal of playing basketball professionally would not be achieved, but the lad had two options – suspend his one-year suspension and then return to Arkansas as a junior or play elsewhere to make money.

He kissed the Arkansas Razorbacks goodbye, hugged the BC Dnipro of the Ukrainian Basketball League (UBL), and signed a one-year contract with the team. Since the contract contained a clause allowing him to leave the team after the season, Patrick decided to use the 2009 NBA Draft. In the meantime, during his time at Dnipro, he became a UBL Slam Dunk Contest Champion in 2009.
Patrick Beverley NBA Career
This guy fulfilled his NBA dream when he was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009. As luck would have it, he was selected with the 42nd overall selection in the second round.
A few hours after his draft the Miami Heat came for him. However, Patrick Beverley was not able to play for the team, as he soon after changed to the Greek club Olympiacos B.C. With this team, he would win the Greek Basketball Cup in 2010, before moving to the Russian BC Spartak St. Petersburg. Patrick won the Russian Cup in 2011 and remained with the team until January 2013, when the NBA Houston Rockets awarded him a multi-year contract.
He was first assigned to the Rockets’ successor team (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) in the NBA Minor League before he finally made his NBA debut with the Rockets and against the Los Angeles Clippers on January 15, 2013. Beverley blazed for the Rockets until the Los Angeles Clippers picked him up sometime in June 2017. Patrick is still on the NBA side at the time of writing this article.
Patrick Beverley’s Family – Wife and Mom
Unlike many of his peers, Patrick Beverley’s private life was a little mystery. Despite rumors that he got engaged to his girlfriend Amber Spencer in 2014, it is not certain that the basketball player is married. However, it is known that the NBA star got together with Amber shortly after he broke up with his ex-girlfriend Lira Galore.
The American B-ball player is the father of two children, a son and a daughter named Everett and Adlaia Beverley. So far we have not been able to determine who is the mother of his children.

Patrick Beverley’s mother, Lisa Beverley, is certainly one of the most important people in the basketball player’s life. She raised Patrick with the help of her father, Rheese Morris, who died in May 2017. After his death, the NBA star revealed that the man was his biggest fan and supporter. According to him, the man always wore his jerseys, even when he played in Europe.
In early May 2018, Patrick’s mother was on the news when she won $41,000 on the television game show “The Price Is Right”. Lisa has been a good mother to Patrick in every respect. It is reported that she traveled with him to Ukraine and stayed for a while to make sure he settled in well.
Patrick is not the only child of his mother. Lisa has a little daughter named Mya. Her life now revolves around Patrick, Mya, and her nail salon Just Tipz and Toez, which Patrick helped build up in East Houston.

Patrick Beverley weighs 83.9 kg (185 lb) and is 1.85 m (6 ft 1 in) tall. Although many professional basketball players are taller than him, his height has in no way prevented him from being a good player.
