Taysom Hill’s mother gave birth to him on August 23, 1990, in the United States of America, in Pocatello, Idaho, where he grew up. His parents’ names are Doug Hill (father) and Natalie Hill (mother).

Hill has three other siblings named Jordan Hill (brother), Dexter Hill (brother), and Celeste Hill (sister). Dexter was born on May 17, 1984, and died in March 2016, forcing the NFL star to give up Brigham Young University activities at the end of spring. Dexter, who died at age 31 in his home in Idaho, was Taysom’s mentor. He played as a quarterback for Pocatello Highland High and was outstanding during his active years. He also represented Scottsdale (Arizona) Community College and in 2004 he threw for 19 touchdowns and 2,300 yards with nine interceptions.

Taysom Hill attended Highland High School where he joined the school’s basketball and football teams. He also took part in athletics and graduated with good grades in 2009. In his senior year, he jumped 1,491 yards, threw 2,269 yards and 18 touchdowns, and also scored 24 touchdowns. This impressive result earned him several awards at the time, including – All-Conference Player of the Year, Gatorade High School Player of the Year, All-Idaho Player of the Year, and First Team All-State Selection.

Hill also has an exceptional track record in athletics. He has participated in the long jump and 200-meter races. He also represented his school at the 2007 5A District IV/V/VI Regional Convention. In this competition, he finished third after achieving a personal best of 22.5 seconds in the 200-meter race. In his final year, at the 5A Regional Meeting 2009, he won the long jump competition with a mark of 6.85 meters.

After graduating in 2009, Hills received admissions from Brigham Young University, University of Arizona, University of Utah, Boise State University, Stanford University, Washington State University, and Oregon State University. He eventually chose Stanford but enrolled at Brigham Young University after some time.

The NFL player was the starting quarterback for the 2013 season. He also lost 19-16 at the season opener in Virginia, but made a comeback the following week in a game against Texas, scoring three touchdowns and a 40-21 victory over 259 yards. Hill went into the 2014 season with high hopes but had to save himself a broken leg in a game against Utah State. Hill also suffered a Lisfranc fracture during the opening game of the 2015 season, which caused him to retire before the end of the season.

Toward the middle of the 2016 season, Taysom made changes to his jersey, changing the jersey number from 4 to 7 in honor of his older brother Dexter, who died the same year. Before his death, Dexter wore the number 7 as a footballer.

Speaking of a professional career, the soccer player did not make it into the draft class of the NFL 2017, but was later, on May 5, 2017, hired by the Green Bay Packers as a Free Agent. He then represented the team in 3 pre-season games, threw for 2 touchdowns, and scored 14 of 20 passes. Hill is currently playing as quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, having been promoted to the active player on December 3, 2017.
