Brett Eldredge is an American country musician who is best known for his best hits Mean to me, Beat of the music, and Don’t ya.
The young American singer, who is under contract with Atlantic Records, is also a songwriter who wrote the song I Think I’ve Had Enough together with Gary Allan, another country musician known for his debut album Used Heart for Sale.
Brett was born on March 23, 1986, in Illinois in a place called Paris, the son of Robin Beth and Christopher Eldredge. He belongs to the white ethnic group and has American citizenship. From a young age, he listened to music by great artists such as Ray Charles, popularly known as “The Genius”, Rank Sinatra, and Bobby Darin. Brett was fascinated by country music at a young age, and by the time he was 16 he was already a sought-after guest at local events. He was also inspired by his cousin Terry Eldredge, who is a member of The Grascals – a bluegrass band from Nashville, Tennessee. He even had to transfer his education from Elmhurst College in Chicago to Tennessee State University just to stay close to his singer cousin and cultivate his interest in music.
During his time at the university, Brett began creating and writing his own music and performing at songwriter nights in the Nashville area until he finally met Byron Gallimore, a record producer and country music singer who encouraged him to continue writing songs and even signed him to his publisher.
From there he was signed to “Atlantic Records”, whereupon he released his debut single Raymond in September 2010. The music, which tells a touching story about a nursing home worker who was confused by an Alzheimer’s patient with her deceased son who had died in the war, was a good start to make his dream come true. The music single was in vogue for quite some time and earned a respectable radio play until the release of the next single It Ain’t Gotta Be Love in 2011, followed by Don’t Ya in 2012, which like his debut single was quite real and sold over a million copies shortly after its release. His single released in 2012 not only placed him at #5 on the US hot country song charts, it also took him to #1 on the US country airplay charts and #3 on the Canadian country charts. However, his debut album Bring You Back was not released until August 6, 2013.
Brett’s subsequent singles such as Mean to Me, released in 2014, and his second album Illinois, released in 2015, further contributed to his rise to fame, and today the young music artist has net assets of approximately $5 million. On the wings of his fame, he was also able to create his official YouTube site called Couch Sessions, where he publishes many of his performances. He even became a part of the opening numbers of Taylor Swift’s Red Tour.
Brett Eldredge’s Wife, Girlfriend, Is He Gay?
In addition to his amazing abilities in the music world, Brett is undoubtedly a very handsome young man, and even after gaining so much popularity, he kept a low profile and gave little or no indication of his private life. However, he is said to be in a relationship with Rachel Hilbert, a popular American model he met in 2015 when she played the role of the nurse in his music video Lose My Mind.
Rachel currently has an estimated net worth of about $1 million that she has earned through her modeling career alongside other YouTube videos and television shows. She is about 1.78 m tall, 1.15 m high, and weighs 58 kg. Rumor has it that Brett is also gay, but he has not yet openly commented on this.
