Jackie Bradley Jr.’s baseball career began in his teenage years after he graduated high school and before he went to college. The midfielder’s college career was outstanding, with very impressive averages in each category. His contribution earned him the 2010 College World Series Most Outstanding Player award. In the next campaign, he had a batting average of 0.369, 13 home runs, and scored 56 goals in 67 runs. He also scored 10-29 on the home plate to become CWS’s most outstanding player for 2010. His college career ended in 2010 and paved the way for a successful professional career.

Professional Career and Stats

The midfielder joined the Red Sox in 2011 and scored 0.250 in his first 10 games, playing for the Lowell Spinners of Minor League Baseball. For his efforts, he was named Minor League Defensive Player of the Year by the Red Sox in 2012.

In 2013, he was ranked 32nd in MLB.com’s Top 100 Prospect list. After receiving an option for the Pawtucket Red Sox in April 2019, he was called back on May 29th and hit the first home run of his career in a game against the Texas Rangers on June 4th.
