Kate was born in Los Angeles, California, and is the daughter of Oscar-winning actress Goldie Hawn and comedian Bill Hudson. Her parents were separated when Kate was just 18 months old. She and her older brother Oliver Hudson were raised by her mother and her long-time boyfriend Kurt Russell, who is also an actor from Snowmass, Colorado.
