The baseball superstar was born as Madison Kyle Bumgarner on August 1, 1989, in Hickory, North Carolina. But then he grew up in an area known as Bumtown. The town has this nickname because many people have the same last name as the baseball player.

He was born, so to speak, with a natural talent for the sports he is known for today because he started playing very early. By the age of 4, Madison had already started playing with people much older than himself, and he was doing great. Luckily for him, he had a father who supported him a lot.

For his education, he attended South Caldwell High School in Hudson, North Carolina. Here he was allowed to play the game that was close to his heart and he made a name for himself after seeing the team that won the 2007 4A State Championship.

Professionally, Madison started with the San Francisco Giants when he was drafted in 2007 and was nominated for the Augusta Greenjackets in 2008. In 2009 he was nominated to the Majors by the San Francisco Giants and that would be the beginning of a successful career in which he would win 3 Major League Baseball World Series Champions, 4 National League All-Star, and 1 Major League Baseball World Series Most Valuable Player Award, among others.

His Salary and Net Worth

Madison Bumgarner is a very hard working person who has made a good name for himself. He has earned a good amount of money over the years and his net worth is estimated at $25 million. In 2016 he had an annual income of $9.75 million as a salary.

Bumgarner earns his money mainly through his sport. The San Francisco Giants’ star signed a six-year contract with the team in 2012, which will allow him to stay on the team until 2018. With this income, it is obvious that the star has already ticked the box perfectly in terms of net worth.
