The Englishman Sir Michael Philip Jagger (popularly known as Mick Jagger) is a songwriter, singer, actor, and film producer. He gained popularity as one of the founding members and lead singer of “Rolling Stone” – a rock band founded in London in 1962.

His father, Basil Fanshawe “Joe” Jagger, was a teacher of English descent, while his mother, Eva Ensley Mary, who was of both Australian and English descent, was a hairdresser and member of the British Conservative Party.
