Neal Bledsoe is a Canadian-American actor and writer who was born on March 26, 1981, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada but grew up in Seattle, Washington. If you are wondering if the actor is in any way related to Drew Bledsoe, the retired quarterback of the New England Patriots in the National Football League, yes, he is his second cousin.

Growing up, Neal moved around a lot in and around Seattle. He lived at different times in places like Queen Anne, Magnolia, Ballard, Ravenna, Edmonds, Downtown, West Seattle, and Fremont. He began his schooling at Roosevelt High School, continued it at Garfield High School, went through the CEDU school system, and ended up at Shawnigan Lake School.

He then went to Idyllwild Arts Academy, where he spent a year learning more about acting and writing. After graduating from the Academy of Arts, Neal Bledsoe continued his artistic training at the North Carolina School of the Arts under the guidance of accomplished theater director Gerald Freedman. He completed his studies in 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

He received his first professional recognition as an actor in 2 episodes of the television series Guiding Light (2005) when the character Quinn was born just under a month after he left school. After that he got further acting roles in TV series like Body of Proof (2011), Episode: “Society Hill”, Smash (2012), where he appeared as John Goodwin in 7 episodes. This was followed by The Mysteries of Laura (2015-2016) as Tony Abbott in 11 episodes, The Man in the High Castle as Captain Connolly in 4 episodes alongside Carsten Norgaard, Rick Worthy, Amy Okuda, Hiro Kanagawa, and others.
