Taylor Gabriel has been playing in the Super Bowl without a draft since 2014, scoring the best rating in the league with 139.9 passer ratings and scoring seven touchdowns in his career. He is a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL).

An electrifying do-it-all receiver, Gabriel played for Abilene Christian, was signed by the Cleveland Browns in 2014, and also had a spell with the Atlanta Falcons.
Taylor Gabriel’s Bio
The Bears Wide Receiver was born on February 17, 1991, in Abilene, Texas, as Taylor James Gabriel. He was a star athlete and did not take long to show his brilliance. Gabriel attended John Horn High School, where he was a triple athlete in football, track and field, and basketball, but football seemed to be the right thing for him. It is called a turbo because of its explosive speed, reminiscent of electricity.

By the end of his junior year, Gabriel had 47 catches for 588 yards and four touchdowns, while in his senior year he had 90 catches for 1,354 yards and 13 touchdowns, earning him a Class 5A TSWA All-State.
After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Abilene Christian University, where he continued to be a phenomenon on the field at the grate. His college career was that of an elite player, as he held the record for the most career touchdowns (27) during his entire stay with the team from 2010 to 2013. His career in Abilene Christian ended with 215 receptions for 3,027 yards and 27 touchdowns, the second in the school’s history, and he also graduated with a degree in economics.
Although he had a massive career in college, Gabriel was more like a rough diamond at the end of that phase. He didn’t get drafted in the 2014 NFL Draft, but eventually pitched his tent at the Cleveland Browns, where he began his path to national fame. In the two seasons he spent with the Browns, he finished with 64 receptions for 862 yards and a touchdown.
After his spell with the Browns, Gabriel was set in motion again and ended up with the Atlanta Falcons, who released him from the waiver on September 4, 2016, after he had been released from the Cleveland side the day before. He would also spend two, but highly productive, seasons with the Falcons.
In his first season with the Falcons, he produced one of the most efficient seasons a Falcon has ever had, with a remarkable number of eye-catching statistics. In total, he had 35 receptions for 579 yards and six touchdowns. The following season, however, he had four starts in 16 games, 33 catches over 378 yards, and only one touchdown, due to Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan leaving the team to become head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. 2017 could be described as a so-and-so season for Gabriel, who was a key player in the Falcons’ appearance in the Super Bowl LI. Although they lost 34-28 overtime against the New England Patriots, he had three receptions for 76 yards.
Taylor Gabriel may not be on the ceiling yet, but that makes it all the more interesting as he still has to do his best, which would be possible at the Chicago Bears, where he is currently on a four-year contract. He is in his fifth season in the NFL and would effectively contrast with veteran receiver Allen Robinson with Trey Burton, Kyle Fuller, and Roquan Smith on the offensive. Family
Taylor was born as the middle child of a family of five to Calvin (father), an IBM software engineer, and Kimberly Gabriel (mother), who worked as a claims adjuster. He has two siblings, a younger sister, Chloe, and a brother, Nicholas, six years older. He credits his late mother and father with the pursuit of excellence, not only in the field but also in life.
On October 6, 2006, his mother died of a brain aneurysm two hours after taking Gabriel and his sister to school. He was only 15 years old at the time. After this terrible incident, he abandoned the game for a month with no intention of returning and returned to the field only because he thought his mother would have wanted him to. The comeback was also part of dealing with her loss. Convinced that football might be the only way to get back together with his mother, he is now playing to feel her presence and carry her forever in his memory. His conviction of rising to the top of the NFL as one of the best wide receivers in history could only come from knowing that his mother believed in him despite the odds.
