Easley formally launched his professional football career in 2014 after being selected by the New England Patriots in the first round (29th total) of the 2014 NFL Draft. He then signed a four-year, $7.3 million contract with the team on June 23, 2014.
The footballer made his debut on September 7, 2014, in a game against the Miami Dolphins, whereupon he was set on injured by his team on December 17.
