Georgie Henley is an English actress known for her role as Lucy Pevensie in the blockbuster film sequel The Chronicles of Narnia. After an impressive first outing, Georgie was also involved in the sequels of the sequel.

Georgie was born on 9 July 1995 as the son of Helen Henley and Mike Henley in a small town in West Yorkshire called Ilkley. Georgie attended Moorfield School before moving to Bradford Grammar School.
As a young school child, Georgie was already a member of a local theatre group called The Upstagers. Their group performed plays like Babushka: A Christmas Story, The Pied Piper to a local audience. At some point during the 18-month casting session, her parents became skeptical about letting their eight-year-old daughter become an actress, as this could have a corrupting influence on her. Georgie Henley attended Cambridge University, where she appeared in numerous plays, including Anthony Burgess’ The Trojan Woman, Play It Again by Sam Woody, to name but a few.
Henley began her career as a director in 2015 when she began writing and directing her first short film called TIDE. The actress comes from a deeply religious, Christian family.
She won the 2008 Nickelodeon UK Kids Choice Awards and was nominated for Best Performance in a Feature Film – Young Ensemble Cast for her performance in The Chronicles of Narnia.
