Steve Rannazzisi is an American actor and stand-up comedian, best known for his debut in the Punk’d show, a show in which celebrities are put in very awkward situations. In one of the episodes, things got so out of hand that Steve was almost knocked over by American actress Michelle Rodriguez.

Stephen Rannazzisi (popularly known as Steve Rannazzisi) was born on 4 July 1977 in the remarkable city of Smithtown, New York, United States. He is an actor and stand-up comedian of Italian and Irish descent and is known for his role in the FXX comedy series “The League”, where he appeared as fantasy football league player Kevin MacArthur.
Steve practically grew up on Long Island and as such attended St. Anthony’s Catholic High School in South Huntington, New York. He left St. Anthony shortly after a year due to what he called a mutual decision. Nevertheless, he graduated from Smithtown High School in 1996. For his college education, Steve received a degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Oneonta and also studied Theatre and Film at SUNY Purchase.

After graduating, Steve first worked for a company in New York City. Later he was able to secure a job at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd. In this Comedy Store the actor and show producer Ashton Kutcher saw his performance. With a lot of luck and his talent, Rannazzisi became part of Kutcher’s show “Punk’d” and became one of the brave performers who played with the celebrities of the show CC: Stand Up notes.
After his appearances in the Punk’d show he landed a role in the comedy series “The League” in 2009, where he played Kevin MacArthur, a fantasy football league player. In an interview with Time Out, he described his experiences on the set of “The League” as great.
Recently he hinted that fans might see his return to the series for the seventh and final time. He is also scheduled as a guest star for the new season of “New Girl”.
9/11 and Educational Controversy
Rannazzisi had claimed for over 14 years that he was an employee working on the 54th floor of Merrill Lynch, which was located in the South Tower of the World Trade Center. Throughout his career, his narrative has been characterized by compassion and compassion, derived from the story that he narrowly escaped death during the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. This event, he claimed, was the reason why he ventured into stand-up comedy and acting.
In September 2015, however, this assertion was later refuted by Steve himself when he was invited by the New York Times to clarify the allegation. This was after investigations had shown that Steve was never an employee of Merrill Lynch, who, interestingly enough, had no office in the World Trade Centre at the time of the attack.
