1. Kathryn Prescott is a Twin

When Kathryn Prescott was born on 4 June 1991 in the London district of Southgate in England, she was not born alone. About 6 minutes later her twin sister Megan was born.

The twin sisters have a younger brother. The sisters attended Palmers Green High School for their primary education, then went to St. John’s Senior School for their secondary education. Twins are known for loving the same things, and it was no different for Kathryn and Megan. As children, they developed a passion for many things, including art and acting. To hone their acting skills, they attended weekly theatre classes where they met their future Skins costar, Lily Loveless.

2. The Prescott Sisters have acted like twins in a couple of films.

Kathryn Prescott and her twin sister Megan started their acting careers together. They made their debut as twin sisters Amy and Charlotte Wilcox in an episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors in 2008. When they started together, it was only fair that they made their breakthrough together, and they did. Their big breakthrough came when they played the twins Emily and Katie Fitch, who were part of the “second generation” in the third season of the teen drama TV series Skins.

To raise awareness about the devastating effects of the opioid epidemic on American youth, Kathryn has made a short film with the Los Angeles Homeless Health Care called Dear You. While promoting the short film, Kathryn discovered that drug overdose is the leading cause of death among Americans under 50. The film was released in early 2018.
