Just being identified as an actress was not enough for Leslie Hope to establish herself as an author, director, and producer. She is widely known for her role as Teri Bauer in the successful television action-drama series 24 and has made a name for herself both in Hollywood and in the Canadian film and television industry. Since her debut role in the 1981 Canadian film “Ups and Downs”, Leslie has enjoyed success in her field and has managed to attract millions of fans who admire her work and follow with dedication every new step she takes.

Leslie Hope: Biography

Leslie was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on May 6, 1965, the daughter of Frank and Ann Hope. Her only sibling is named Stephen. She completed her early education at St. Michael’s University School, a private boarding school in British Columbia.

As Leslie grew up, she cultivated her passion for acting. Her first movie role was in Ups and Downs, where she played Penelope; she was still in school when she got that role. She then played the role of Joanie in Love Streams, a role that earned her much praise from the critics. Leslie Hope played the role of Cammie Springer in the American soap opera Berrenger’s and Linda Martin in Knots Landing. She then played the Shoshana in the television movie Sword of Gideon and in 1986 the title character in The Education of Allison Tale.

The fast-rising actress was given a leading role as Stephanie Lawrence in the romantic comedy It Takes Two. She also appeared in Kansas, Tales from the Hollywood Hills: Golden Land” and “War and Memory” in which she played Madeleine Henry. In 1998 Leslie starred as Jenny Hatcher in the film Shadow Builder. Although Leslie spent only one season in the series 24 as Teri Bauer, she is respected and loved for how much she gave the role.
