The American actor Josh Brolin began his career in the middle of the 1980s with appearances in movies like The Goonies, No Country for Old Men, and Milk. Josh was born on February 12, 1968, in Santa Monica, California, the son of Jane Cameron (Agee) and James Brolin. This makes him an American by nationality, while his ethnicity is a mixture of Swiss-German, English, Scottish and Irish.
His mother, Jane, was an animal rights activist from Corpus Christi, Texas, while his father James was an actor. His full name is Josh James Brolin, and he grew up on a ranch in Templeton, California, where his parents lived until they divorced when Josh was 16 years old (1984).
Young Josh Brolin had little to do with his father’s acting career, and he quickly became interested in acting and later improved by taking acting lessons in high school. In his childhood, he was a member of a friendship surfing group called “Citto Rats”. According to him, the group consisted of the children of rich, poor, and neglected parents, but they all grew up the same way. To him, he had never seen such a group before or after.
Josh also admitted that he abused drugs and stole cars to pay for his drug: Heroin, which he still admitted he never enjoyed. He revealed that he had lost a total of 24 of his childhood friends to heroin.

Josh Brolin Acting Career
Josh ventured his career in television as a guest on television shows before he got a role as Brand Walsh in the 1985 film The Goonies directed by Richard Donner.
The following year, 1986, he played the role of Corey Webster in Thrashin, where he described the quality of his actions after the premiere as “terrible”. After that, he had a break from filming, in which he only appeared in stage roles in Rochester, New York, with his mentor and friend Anthony Zerbe. During this time Josh began to do well with roles in television series, including 1986 Highway to Heaven as Josh Bryant in the episode Finish Line, followed by several other series, then the ABC Western television series The Young Riders, which lasted three seasons from 1989 to 1992, and the Aaron Spelling production Winnetka Road (1994) and Mister Sterling (2003).
Josh Brolin returned as Tom in The Road Killers, a 1993 film. He became a fixture in many film projects that followed year after year, as no two years passed without Josh appearing in the latest films of the year. This was in addition to his now flourishing presence on the most highly acclaimed television series.
Most recently he appeared as Eric “Supe” Marsh in Joseph Kosinski’s 2017 film Only the Brave. Family – Wife, Kids, Dad
Josh Brolin’s father remarried Barbra Streisand, a singer, and actress of that time. Jane, his mother, died later in 1995 on his 27th birthday in a car accident that marked a sad phase in his life.
Josh has walked the path of marriage four times, with three divorces and one surviving marriage. From 1988 to 1994 he was first married to his actress colleague Alice Adair. In the six years of their marriage, she gave birth to two children: Trevor Mansur, born in June 1988, and Eden, born in 1994.

After Alice came to another actress named Minnie Driver, with whom Josh was acquainted for six months, but didn’t go further than that. On 15 August 2004, he married Diane Lane, who was still working as an actor and divorced her in 2013.
