Talk about wrestlers who have not ceased to amaze the world with their skills and talents in an otherwise notoriously male-dominated field, and Sarona Moana-Marie Reiher Snuka-Polamalu, known by her ring name Tamina Snuka, would undoubtedly be counted among them. She is an American professional wrestler under contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and performs under the Smackdown brand.
The WWE diva didn’t really start early in the arena; she joined after a divorce and in the third decade of her life. Tamina is a descendent of the Fijian professional wrestler Jimmy Snuka. Her father was a Hall of Famer and actor who was known for his time in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF now WWE). Tamina, the second generation wrestler, was born on January 10, 1978, in Vancouver, Washington, USA. She is of mixed descent and has Japanese, Fijian, and Samoan roots. Since she was born into a family where wrestling is revered and practiced, it was not surprising that she chose this profession.

Her father was married three times in his life, and his second wife, Sharon Georgi, is the mother of his four children, including Sarona, her brother James Jr., who was also a professional wrestler and known as Deuce or Sim Snuka, and her sisters Ata and Liana.

Her Wrestling Career
Tamina started wrestling after following in the footsteps of her famous father and brother into the world of professional wrestling in 2009 after she received her first Lia Maivia scholarship to train at the Wild Samoan Training Center in Minneola, Florida. She signed with the WWE in late 2009 and was assigned to the Florida Championship Wrestling Development Area in 2010.
She made her wrestling debut in May 2010 as Heel (rogue character) in an episode of Raw alongside the Usos (Jimmy and Jey) against The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, and Natalya), and her debut in singles against Natalya in June of the same year ended in a No Contest. Tamina then competed on other WWE platforms such as NXT and SmackDown, where she defeated two-time women’s champion, Natalya, in January 2012. The victory against Natalya spurred her on to further victories, but mostly in tag teams.
Apart from fighting in tag teams and acting as a valet for other wrestlers, she also took on the role of bodyguard for Diva’s champion AJ Lee in 2013. Tamina Snuka also fought as a member of the women’s wrestling group Team B.A.D. (Beautiful and Dangerous), which was made up of herself, Naomi, and Sasha Banks. The team disbanded in May 2016. The WWE diva was married once in her life. From 1995 to 2003 she was the wife of Brandon Polamalu, with whom she has two daughters, Milaneta and Maleate.
She allegedly had a relationship with her wrestling colleague Santino Marella after she started flirting with him in August 2010. According to rumors about her date, Tamina acted in a way that lent credibility to her alleged romance by helping Santino on occasion to avert an attack by the Usos against him. She also joined him to celebrate his victory over Zack Ryder in October 2010, and in November 2010 she appeared backstage with Santino and Vladimir Kozlov in an episode of Raw, where she serenaded and kissed him.

Although wrestling can be recognized as a form of acting, and Tamina Snuka, who has starred in several episodes, could take the title of an actress, she actually acted. She made her acting debut in 2014 in the movie Hercules alongside Dwayne Johnson and appeared as herself in several episodes of some TV shows like Total Divas and WWE Tough Enough.
