Criss Angel was born Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos on December 19, 1967, in Hempstead, New York City, New York. However, he grew up in Elmont, and when he was in the fourth grade, his family moved to East Meadow, still in New York. His father’s name was John Sarantakos and he was a restaurateur; his mother’s name is Dimitra Sarantakos.
